About the project
A big part of our job is contributing to the development of local infrastructure to meet the needs of our growing population. One example of that is the expansion of public transport networks, like the Transport Canberra bus service.
The Woden Bus Depot is a $5 million project in Phillip ACT that’s designed to shelter up to 120 buses, as well as hold administration and operations buildings, servicing workshops, a refuelling station, washing facilities and a staff car park.
Expanding this previously decommissioned depot will improve the efficiency and reliability of the bus service.
Our job was to supply 19 x 12m tapered octagonal poles and 12 x 6.5m tapered round poles, which carry luminaires and cameras, ensuring the overall security and visibility of the project.
